THE COOKERY SCHOOL Just to give you an idea, this is what Nicky & Régis offered on their cookery courses Nicky and Régis ran gastronomic cookery courses for all lovers of food and wine and love to share their interest and knowledge of cuisine with their guests. The 3 day courses included:- - three 2 hour 'hands on' & demonstration cooking sessions - visits to the local market, cheese merchant and a local artisan, such as the Calvados distillery - wine & cheese tastings with each meal Nicky, a Cordon Bleu chef, took the stress out of cooking and entertaining, introducing her students to many new flavours, great short cuts and span a contemporary twist on classic recipes making them easier and more unusual. She also cooked different recipes from Normandy, France and other parts of the world. Régis took the guests to the market to buy the ingredients and sample the local specialities. Back home, he showed the guests the technique of preparing the seafood that was purchased at the market. Having made cheese himself, Régis also demonstrated a simple cheese which the students could reproduce at home.
